One of the toughest parts of getting into shape would be the cardio. I am more of a weightlifter but had to include some cardio into my workouts, as I noticed that my stomach was starting to stick out just a little bit. As big of a hit to my ego as that was, I figured that it was time to get on the treadmill for a couple of times a week.
Looking around at the supplements that I saw, nothing really seemed to stick out from the rest, as far as anything specifically being for cardio. My luck changed when I stumbled upon something called Cardio Igniter that I had. This supplement is made by Top Secret Nutrition and has been designed just for people who are using cardio exercises. Promising better performance while you perform cardio by increasing your energy and endurance, this one has the makings of a winner but let’s see how it really worked!
What is in This Supplement?
Notably, there are the big players here, as far as ingredients go. Beta Alanine is listed in Cardio Igniter, which is a great addition for any product that has to do with endurance. The caffeine in this supplement will definitely help you to get through those grueling cardio sessions. L-Tyrosine and L-Carnitine are also listed as ingredients that are in this product, which are two things that are great for raising you aerobic performance. If you are someone who might not be getting enough of the vitamins that you need, you are in luck if you use this. Loaded with Vitamin B6, B12, and Potassium (one of the all-time best endurance ingredients, in my opinion), this is great for the runners, joggers, and cardio lovers out there.
Pros and Cons:
- Gave me a really great energy that was long-lasting.
- Seemed to allow me to run for longer amounts of time, helping my endurance.
- I wasn’t a big fan of the taste, but with the results I got, this wasn’t a big deal.
My Results with Using This Supplement
Since I was going to be starting some pretty intense treadmill and elliptical sessions, I had to make sure that I was going to be using something that would be consistent. Luckily, Cardio Igniter always provided me with great energy that lasted even after some of my workouts. No matter what, I never felt tired after mixing this one up and drinking it about 30 minutes before I started any kind of cardio. As for my results, before using this supplement, I was able to maybe do about 15 minutes of any kind of cardio, no lie. After having this in my system for a couple of days, I was finding that I could clock in at about 20 minutes, a big victory for me.
After going through a container of this, I was finally able to last on the treadmill for close to forty minutes. One thing that I wanted to make note of was that those forty minute sessions, while taking Cardio Igniter, never seemed too exhausting. The endurance aspect of this supplement is where it really shines, although the energetic feeling that this gave me was awesome.
Where Can I Get Cardio Igniter?
Apparently, this one is quite hard to find, at the time of this writing. I was able to find it on Amazon but had trouble trying to track it down anywhere else. You might have more luck than I did in finding it but it is worth grabbing at least one bottle, if you can. I don’t know how different this supplement is from a preworkout, as both seemed to give me similar feelings and results. That being said, Cardio Igniter got me through those days spent on the treadmill in a way that I didn’t think would be possible. I don’t enjoy cardio but when it comes time to do it, taking this supplement was a smart thing that I am glad I did.
